As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Mon/Wed/Sat in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors tenants and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas parking facilities perimeter locations and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Monitor access points restricted areas and public-facing locations in accordance with site policies reporting security-related concerns and maintaining accurate activity documentation.
• Support a welcoming and orderly environment by providing directions answering questions and communicating professionally with diverse members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
