As an Airport Security Officer: P/T Monday/Friday in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. • Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned airport areas terminal approaches parking facilities perimeter areas and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials as required and report suspicious activity access concerns and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate airport personnel or first responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports maintain activity logs and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
