The Atlantic Group has partnered with a growing medical center in the Brooklyn, NY area. They have an immediate need for a Medical Receptionist to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.
Job Description: Seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly Full Time Medical Receptionist for our Southampton, NY office location.
Required Rotating Schedule
• Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm/8:00am-6:00pm/10:00am-7:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:45am-4:20pm/8:30am-5:00pm/9:30am--5:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:45am-5:15pm/8:15am-5:00pm/9:00am-5:30pm
• Thursday: 7:45am-4:00pm/8:00am-4:30pm/9:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 7:45am-3:00pm/8:00am-3:00pm/9:00am-6:00pm
• Saturday's (1-2 per month) - 8:00am - 12:30pm
*Please note: schedule subject to change based on physician schedules.
Job Duties
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting incoming patients
• Verifying insurance coverage
• Entering patient demographics into the computer
• Pulling and filing medical charts
• Assisting the office manager and physicians as needed. Most importantly, you will be the face of our practice for the many patients who need our help
Job Requirements
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Epic experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance a plus
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
