• CT studies with and without contrast

• Diagnostic X-ray experience

• Ability to work with adult and pediatric patients

POSITION OVERVIEW

\n

\n

CT/X-Ray Multimodality Technologist responsible for performing CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures across a broad range of anatomical areas and patient populations. This role requires recent, hands-on experience in both CT and X-ray modalities , including routine and contrast-enhanced studies, emergency and acute-care imaging, and advanced CT procedures. The technologist must be proficient in image post-processing, PACS, contrast administration, and peripheral IV placement while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient care standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

\n

\n
• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
\n
• Perform CT examinations of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system.
\n
• Perform CT studies with and without contrast.
\n
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
\n
• Start peripheral IVs for contrast-enhanced examinations when applicable.
\n
• Perform specialized CT procedures including brain perfusion, virtual colonography, CT arthrography, and transplant studies.
\n
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images while following appropriate imaging protocols.
\n
• Perform image reconstruction and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR).
\n
• Review images for quality and completeness before sending them for interpretation.
\n
• Utilize PACS for image processing, storage, and transmission.
\n
• Provide imaging services for adult and pediatric patients.
\n
• Support imaging needs in acute-care, emergency, and trauma settings.
\n
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, patient identification, and contrast safety procedures.
\n
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of imaging records.
