Job Title: Level 2 RN Pediatric ED Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Pediatric ED experience required License: NY RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: BLS certification from American Heart Association required PALS certification from American Heart Association required ACLS certification from American Heart Association required 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Room experience required NIHSS certification required Description: The Pediatric Emergency Department provides family-centered care for individuals under 19 years of age. Care is provided for urgent and emergent issues. The unit includes general care beds, critical care beds, urgent care beds, and a trauma bay. Staff members are trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Burn care experience is highly desirable. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in emergency situations.
