As an Airport Security Officer: P/T Monday/Tuesday in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors tenants and airport personnel while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas public spaces parking facilities access points perimeter areas and other assigned airport property.
• Monitor for unusual activity unauthorized access hazards and policy violations and promptly report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents disturbances alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Assist with access control visitor direction traffic or pedestrian flow and compliance with posted airport rules and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a security-related role is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
